My sister and I have a blog called The Well-Rounded Life. As moms and endurance athletes, most of our entries cover the topic of balance — how to do it all without losing your mind or your job … or your family! It has a strong leaning toward the plant-based lifestyle.

I am also an Atlanta based blogger writing about training and my journey from doing a Couch to 5K program to losing 60 pounds and running marathons and now working on my first Half Ironman which will be in under 3 weeks (ahhh!!) in Chattanooga. What makes my training a bit crazier and maybe somewhat unique is that I have a job where I am on the road a lot and fitting in swimming, biking and running while in Singapore (at t his moment), San Francisco, Dubai, and everywhere in between.

Late to the party but better late than never! I write over at theanxioustriathlete.com and my focus is the nitty-gritty beginner basics, which are the things that intimidated me for years before I finally got up the courage to tri! I enjoy sharing the ridiculously stupid things I’ve done, like the first time I went to buy a bike, tried to mount it standing on a wall like a horse, and bought it because I slipped the chain and thought I broke it. It’s basically one big “don’t do what I did” blog 🙂
My blog is very neglected but I’m starting to work on my next post and will hopefully gain momentum and start posting regularly. Especially since I’ll be training for my first full IM.
