I have been asked to be a part of this year’s USAT Southeast Symposium here in Atlanta, on November 5th at the OMNI Hotel. I am so excited. Excited is an understatement, really.
Whether you are looking for more information on USAT certification programs for coaches or trainers, how your tri club can compete in the 2012 regional race series, or simply how to best plan your individual training, then the Fall Symposium is for you to learn more about the many benefits of the multisport lifestyle. The Symposium will consist of three primary schedules for learning; one for athletes and clubs; another the other for coaches, trainers, and race directors; and a third for key regional constituents such as women, youth, and paratriathletes. The event will begin in the morning with an opening General Session for all participants, transition to the three curriculum tracks, then wrap-up with a closing General Session for all attendees at the end of the day.
Here’s the official schedule.
I will be a part of the Track 3: Women’s Specific Panel at 3:45pm. Check out these AWESOME ladies on the panel: Dana Greene (Founder, Get Fit Atlanta), Ella Dunn (Owner, PES Management Consulting, USAT-SE Council member), Dr. Trent Nessler (PT, DPT, MPT, Champion Sports Medicine – Vice President), Rebecca Carpenter (Elite Age Group triathlete and multiple Ironman World Championship finisher), and Robin Hiers (moderator). And then there’s me. Oh.
